Link Bonus

December 24th, 2008

Alex Jeffry’s is running a traffic competition for his coaching course students. The prize is $1000 to the student with the most traffic at the end of a two week period (ends January 2nd).

This is a great way to motivate people to take action.

That said, I do not intend to take the competition too seriously. I will be doing all that I can to generate traffic but I have limited time available over the Christmas holiday period and realistically, I am unlikely to win. There are people who have a great deal more time than I do and they will be the main contenders. I am taking a longer term view.

I am slowly but steadily building links. I have published a Squidoo lens and I intend to publish a Hub page and additional pages on other sites to create my own mini link network. My Twitter account is also growing steadily without too much effort on my part. Hopefully, this will play a significant role in the future.

Equally important is producing content for my blog. I will continue to make posts as regularly as possible over the holiday and I am working on some additional resources for the New Year.

A surprise bonus to visiting other blog’s is that I am learning some great information. I am enjoying interacting with the conversation and leaving comments, as well as generating useful links.

In the 20 days that this blog has been online I have seen a steady increase in the number of visitors. I am hopeful that the traffic volume will continue to grow.

I’m delighted with my progress overall and looking forward to good things in 2009.

In case I don’t get to speak to you again before Christmas I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Very Happy Christmas.

    Hi Ken

I am a student of Alex Jeffreys

Just dropped in to say Hey, thought I would peep around for a minute. My sentiments exactly about the competition. This just isn’t a good time of the year to have a competition. I like you will just keep plugging away.

I have added you to my list if you get a minute could you add me to yours it would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great Christmas and happy New Year

    Keith

Hello Ken, Just popped in to say hi, and

I have something very special for you.

I just spent the last two days writing and mapping out how to get free traffic to your website or blog within days. I have actually showed your students and my friends one of the techniques I use to get over 1000 + unique visitors a day to my car audio site for the last 4 years. I also show how they can get listed on the first page of Google within days. These are proven tested white hat strategies.

PS: I just heard about half of Alex’s students still don’t have a blog up.

That is why I have put together a huge wordpress video course that shows them step by step exactly what to do. Many students have already grabbed them. If you would like to put a link on your site to the wordpress videos I will put a link to any product you are promoting.

    Here are the videos, http://www.vincecraine.com

let me me know – and check out my proven traffic strategy.

I think a Squidoo lens, or lenses must be a good idea. I’ve not got around to it yet because of time constraints.

Well done to you for taking this step.

    All good wishes for 2009

    @Vince Craine
    Hi Vince,

Thanks for visiting. I don’t understand why so many have not set up their blogs. Why pay for the coaching if you’re not going to take the steps necessary to succeed. The information and help is readily available for anyone struggling with the technicalities.

Your post sounds interesting, I will check it out.

    Cheers
    Ken

    Hi Stephen,

Squidoo lenses are a good way to get links, traffic and to help get your site indexed. They are fairly easy to set up. Just open an account, click on create a lens and follow each step as prompted. To get your lens published, make sure to use at least three modules.

    Good Luck
